Margot's Sunflowers

In spring of 2025 Margot asked if she could have a rainbow of flowers planted in the garden for her 6th birthday. Daddy, a farmer who knows nothing about flowers,  said how about a field (crop!) of sunflowers instead that we can see from the window. And so it was, they were planted with the intention of harvesting them for bird seed in the autumn, and they seemed to thrive. They looked so beautiful that Margot wanted to share them with everyone! So we did! We had hundreds of visitors who came to look at the flowers, take pictures or take a few flowers. We managed to raise over £1000 for charity too!
